Inversion Method- 1 Inch Hair Growth in 1 Week

Good Morning lovelies~(ʃƪ ˘ ³˘)

So a week ago i was browsing YouTube and stumbled across this thing called the Inversion Method.
Supposedly in only 7 days, it grows your hair up to 1/2 to 2 inches
I browsed around a little bit, since I was pretty skeptical, & it surprisingly had really good reviews.
since the ingredients are easy to come buy, pretty affordable, & the method sounds simple enough, I decided to give it a go. heck, why not? (ღ˘⌣˘ღ)

I ended up going by the first video i had seen
^(I followed this one as close as possible)
Since I had just relocated to a new apartment, & my roomie recently moved out
I was low on basic ingredients and had to purchase them, so I ended up using a bare minimum due to a very low budget o(╥﹏╥)o

Some good oils I had seen repeated in several videos were Coconut, Olive, Grapeseed, and Castor Oil.
& it was also recommended to include some essential oils (Teatree, Peppermint, ect. to help stimulate the scalp)

On Day 1 I did a Hot Oil Treatment using:
Coconut Oil
Olive Oil
 Herbal Oil mixture
(Not sure if you're supposed to use Extra Virgin Olive Oil...but i was on a budget lol )
If you can only afford 1 or 2 oils (like me) i'd suggest including one of these. Only ~$2 and contains a mix of the other oils like castor&grapeseed, & also has some essential oils in it such as fruit oils, sweet almond oil, jojoba seed oil, thyme, ginseng, sage ect. (found in the ethnic isle. Coconut and olive was found in the grocery section)
I got everything from the local Walmart
My Process:
  • Mix oils in a bowl (i used 2 tablespoons of each)
  • Heat in the microwave for 15-30 seconds.
  • Massage the oils into your scalp and throughout the rest of your hair.
  • Bend over with your head facing downward (you can sit on a chair/bed)
    • This makes the blood run to your scalp and helps stimulate hair growth (this is where the magic happens, baby)
  • Massage your scalp in this position for 10 minutes. (so boring and youll feel ridiculous but worth it)
  • Put hair up in a tight ponytail and sleep in it
    • (It should be okay to sleep on your pillow, mine didn't get gross lol)
  • The next morning rinse it and do your normal shower routine

On Day 2 I did a Vitamin Spray (follicle booster)

  • steep Rosemary leaves and Sage leaves
    •  (the recipe recommends Dulce too but i couldnt find it)
  • steep 30 min
  • Strain
  • Put in spray bottle
  • Spray roots/scalp
  • Massage 10 min in the inverted position

I borrowed Sage from my landlady lol (~ ˘▿ ˘)~
If you have one of these tea ball thingies use it!! makes life so much easier
(~ ˘▿ ˘)~ I used a leftover Redken bottle ~( ˘▿ ˘~)
ended up using about 1/2 the bottle by the week's end

Day 3: Oil Treatment
Day 4: Vitamin Water Treatment
Day 5: Oil Treatment
Day 6: Vitamin Water Treatment
Day 7: Oil Treatment

On Days 2 and 7 I included a moisture/hydration Hair Mask:
Day 2 Mask: I think you can get this at Walmart too. Left on for 1 hour
Day 7's Mask. Bought from Sally's. Left on for 30 minutes.
(I usually did these masks after rinsing the Hot Oil treatments in the mornings)

Other than that the only products I used were my regular shampoo and conditioner
Every other day i put this serum in my hair to help with the dryness-plus it smells amazing ( ˘ ³˘)♥

And after showers ill spray this in. I'm convinced anything with "Milk" in it is awesome (ღ˘⌣˘ღ)

And finally the results:
Left: Day 1      Right: Day 7

On Day 1 I measured the length of my hair starting from the bottom of my ear to the tips of my hair and got 12 inches.
On Day 7 i repeated the same method and this time i got 13 1/4 inches Σ(゚д゚lll)
That's insane! I kept re-measuring just to confirm and make sure i didn't make a mistake lol
But each time i definitely got a little over 13 inches ٩(●˙▿˙●)۶
(note:This treatment doesnt improve thickness/volume ect. The pic on the right is just freshly washed, blow dried, and straightened hair.)
However you can easily tell that the hair on the left is above my bra strap, while the right is definitely below ٩(●˙▿˙●)۶  ٩(●˙▿˙●)۶

Honestly even while doing it I couldn't notice any difference in length, so i was pretty sure I'd see no new growth. Felt like i was doing all this for nothing _:(´o`」 ∠):_
(keep in mind i didn't straighten my hair or style it at all during this week. So i had curly hair the whole time which makes it difficult to see the true length anyways)

But this treatment does intense moisturizing
even if i hadn't got any new growth, i'd still have done this just to re-hydrate my hair
In high school I dyed my hair every month, and then one year i decided to go from black dye to platinum blonde- so my hair is extremely damaged, dry, and has tons of dead ends (。-_-。)
It had gotten bad enough that i had to take a year off from any hair dye to try and boost it's health back up, but as you can see the ends still have evidence of the bleach/dye jobs

But now it feels really soft again, and i cant help but keep touching it xD
it's amazing …⋆ฺ٩(●˙▿˙●)۶…⋆ฺ ٩(●˙▿˙●)۶…⋆ฺ
And you know when you try and straighten dead ends, they just wont go straight no matter how many times you pass the flat iron over it??
Well after 7 days of TLC those ends straighten easily and now it looks like i dont even have split ends anymore
 ~( ˘▿ ˘~) The sorcery (~ ˘▿ ˘)~
I definitely absolutely 100% recommend trying this.
If not for the hair growth then for the hydration factor
